FAFSA Information
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the first step for seniors and their families to apply for financial aid for college or career school. Completing the FAFSA gives students access to grants, scholarships, work-study programs, and low-interest federal student loans. Many states and colleges also use FAFSA information to award their own aid.
Completing the FAFSA is a state graduation requirement for all high school seniors. Families who choose not to complete it may submit an opt-out form instead. The opt-out form is available in the counselor’s office.
